Well Hellooooo!!
Yes, I know it's been over 5 months. What can I say, I've been busy - Had a baby, adjusting to everything, and now the holidays are here. Thank goodness I finished my Christmas shopping on December 3rd. Yeah, some of you will hate me, but once you have a kid, your life completely changes and you have to organize everything around her.

Anyway, just thought I'd drop a quick line to let you all know that I'm still alive!

Oh yeah, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year!!

At the rate I'm going..
... I'll be posting every month or so. But I'm still here. Just not as often as I'd like. But then not much has happened since my last post (as far as I can remember?). I did by 2 lamps for my living room today. Slowly but surely, my house will be decorated.

Yes I know... it's been over 2 months...
... but I'm still here. With so much going on, and no computer at home, plus not being able to blog at work, it doesn't really give me anytime to blog. In a nutshell, this is what I've been up to (in no particular order):
  • Rick and I moved into our condo on March 27, which means Irma and I have been neighbors for about a month and a half, and the weird part is we've hardly seen each other;
  • took my car in for an oil change and a minor tire repair (ran over a nail or something);
  • noticed my left windshield wiper isn't working properly after I took it in, which means I have to go back (ugh!);
  • my furniture finally came in and was delivered yesterday; and
  • I went to Home Depot and bought tools (I think I'm being influenced by all these home reno shows)

That's all I can remember (my short term memory has been really bad lately).

Oh yeah, and by the way...
Happy Mother's Day!!

Wow... 38 days since my last post...
OK, so I'm not doing a good job in blogging lately, but there's been a lot going on. First, there's work and training this new lady to head one of our departments. I was doing that up until now, but between that plus my own workload, it was nearly impossible to get things done. Let's just say that I've had many long days.

New house
Probably the big thing that's going on right now is moving in with the boyfriend. We found this townhouse/condo last week (thanks to Irma - omg, we're going to be neighbors =P) and we move in at the end of the month. It's small, but it's cozy and within our budget. I'm excited that we're getting a place, but not really looking forward to the whole moving thing. If I had it my way, I would just move in and everything would be set up. Thank goodness we don't have a lot of stuff. I suppose I should start packing things now...

Hi...

... my name is Michelle and I'm a blog slacker. It has been 28 days since my last post. (hehehe =P)

After 28 days, I've finally made it back to blogging. I'm not sure how long this run will last, but hey, at least I'm making an effort. So what's been going on with me? Well, it's been quite hectic at work. Between training and paperwork and training and running around and blah blah blah, nothing else has been going on in my life. Well, there is something but I choose not to post it here. I'll be notifiying people (if I haven't done so already) about what's been going on with me. And NO, I'm not engaged or married or anything!! =P

New car
One thing I did get was a new car. My MPV finally died. Well, not really dead, just in critical condition. Apparently there was a leak in the head gasket and anti-freeze was leaking into my oil. Not a good thing. I took it to the shop to get a quote on how much it would be to get it fixed, but it more than what my van was worth. My dad ended up giving me $500 for it, and he's going to see if he can do most of the work himself. So that meant, I had to get a new car. I can't believe I actually shopped for and bought a car in less than a week. But under the circumstances, I guess you do what you have to do. So I got a new Mazda3 and I'm quite enjoying it. I got the 4-door sedan in silver. Unfortunately, I didn't get the sunroof because you had to get the sport package for that one, but I'm happy with my new car.

Deep Freeze
We've been having some unbelievably cold weather lately. And I'm really not liking it at all. -30C with a windchill of -41C, just doesn't cut it with me. And this weather is supposed to stay for the rest of the week too. *sigh* I guess I shouldn't complain since the last few winters have been pretty mild...

Lunch time
Well, it's lunch time for me. Hmm... what should I eat???

Happy New Year!
Hmmm, I guess that's all I really have to say for now. =P
